Mission

To foster music education and mentoring opportunities for students of color enabling them to fulfill their creative and professional aspirations while studying at one of the world’s premier performing arts conservatories, by endowing music scholarships at The Juilliard School, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York.

History

The Luther Henderson Scholarship Fund, Inc., a non-profit
organization, was established in 2006 by stage and film director and actror, Billie Allen-Henderson, in honor of her late husband, Luther Henderson’s notable creative achievements and enduring contributions in the performing arts.
